What it is
With cash-out the operator offers you an amount to close a slip before the matches finish. If you accept, the slip settles at that amount, whatever happens next.
How the offer is worked out
The operator works out the chance of the slip coming in at the current odds and takes off a margin. For example: a €10 slip with a potential return of €40 that, at today’s odds, has a priced probability of 50%. Its “neutral” value is €20. The cash-out offer will usually be a little lower, e.g. €18 or €19.
When it makes sense
- When something changed for you, not just in the match.
- When you want to stop and not stake that amount again.
What it doesn’t do
Cash-out doesn’t tell you what will happen in the match. It simply follows the prices of the moment. The HGC’s Commercial Communication Regulation bars ads from giving the impression that the result of a game can be foreseen or controlled (Article 8.3.7, Ministerial Decision 79292/2020). The cash-out button doesn’t change that uncertainty.
Frequently asked questions
Is cash-out available at every operator?
Not every operator offers it, and not in every market. We only note it on an operator’s profile once it is verified from an official source.
Can I use cash-out to limit my losses?
You can close a slip early, but the offer has a margin built in again. A loss limit is better set before you start.
Why does the offer change every few seconds?
Because it follows the live odds of the match. Every goal, card or minute that passes changes the price.
